When politics fail, call in an air strike.
When politics succeed, call in an air strike.
Call in an air strike? Call in an air strike.
No but seriously i am highly appreciative of American excellence in terms of our Airstriking capabilities. We have drones guided from thousands of miles away who are able to take out terrorists so precisely that there are little to no civilian causalities.
I would love if that capability actually meant no civilian casualties but sadly that just not true.
"The U.S. carried out 550 strikes (from all methods, not just drones), almost all of them in Operation Odyssey Lightning in 2016.
Civilians dead: 300–909
Children dead: 66–184
Also the drone strike on Aug 29th 2021 killed 10 civilians (7 of them children) in Kabul."
I love my country but we have to do better than this.
But as far as the video, if I lived in that neighborhood and knew the guy who did that I would be baking him a thank you cake. Brilliant idea!
> We have to do better than this
But the cold hard truth of Capitalism is that: As long that one missile sold by the multibillion dollar defense megacompanies was more profitable than the lives of Afghan children it killed would’ve been to US politicians under the influence of armement lobbies, this isn’t going to change.
Welcome to America, I hope you’ll love its military-industrial complex. It’s not like you had much of a choice anyways.
I think he just meant that we need to stop shooting the missiles at children…
Therein lies the problem: we're not intentionally shooting them at children.
I agree, we need to stop bombing random villages.
And I’m explaining that many children are going to die in useless war as long as war is profitable.
Interesting that you blame capitalism when the soviets quite literally invaded and did the exact same shit (and worse by the way) a few decades prior to america's kerfuffle.
I also find it very interesting that somehow capitalism is at fault for something \*the government\* is doing, even though it's quite clear that a government drone program and war has absolutely nothing to do with private individuals having the freedom to make their own businesses and enterprises at will.
Soviets doing it too doesn’t mean they had the same motives. Two causes can have the same consequence.
Plus, the USSR being a state capitalist country is going to make it have a lot of similarities to other capitalist countries such as the US.
And yes, Capitalism is to blame for the lobbying, corruption, cronyism and nepotism amongst the American political class. And no, it’s not because the government does something that it’s socialist / not capitalist.
I mean, would you rather them use an a-10 warthog to get the job done? Or send people, who can die or kill civilians through miscommunication (since that can't speak the same language) or collateral damage? There's not too many remote options and the hands-on approach isn't much better. Personally, I don't have any ideas for bettering our approach. In the end, killing less civilians would be nice (I would hate to die due to someone else's mistake), but there's not really a simple solution.
The A-10 Warthog is going to be sold by the same company.
You don’t read much news, do you?
Just an fyi, this guy is a known downvote farmer.
Unless joe Biden is president
Trump killed a little girl with American citizenship.
>with American citizenship
That part doesn't really matter
Oh c'mon don't be hard on Joe. Every president does it so nbd right?
The technology that enables it is awesome when you think about it, but the act isn't good in the slightest. The number of civilian casualties is not little to none.
These people should have gotten a shotgun and taken this clowns toy down . . I suspect the case could be made that that his actions of putting roman candles on the drone could be considered arson at the best, and wreck less behavior likely.
To any one reading this please dont take out a deadly fire arm and shoot low arcing rounds into the sky. Youll kill someone. Go get a toilet paper roll and throw it at the drone. Works just as well.
I take it u were one of the delinquents given the fact ur so pressed over the drone shooting fireworks
While the use of a drone was cute, and innovative, putting a roman candle on it like that, could very well start a fire.
(Being an adult is a bitch!)
A Roman candle could start a fire, but firing a shotgun into the air in a city is totally cool...
Is in my country, guess where that is?
Kinda doesn't matter. If you're not ok with a Roman candle being fired into the air then you can't logically be ok with a shotgun being fired into the air.
Maybe assault with a deadly weapon
He escalates with a stick of lit dynamite on a drone.
Modern problems require modern solutions
I’d just take the Churchill approach and increase the volume
Well played Sir, well played indeed
This is the most hilarious thing I've seen in a long time! Sure, illegal and dangerous too, but awesome and hilarious!
Exactly my thoughts. Especially when it lowered and turned to shoot at one of the other guy's. I cracked up haha
>Illegal and dangerous but awesome and hilarious
It's amazing how often those things go hand in hand
Some people still have to get up and go to work in the morning!
Is he a genius or an absolute idiot?
he's too powerful
War…War never changes
War has changed
I'm sure this is illegal somehow but I have no idea specifically how
I have several ideas
Assault with a deadly weapon could stick
Because it was a stick of fireworks?
I don't think you're going to convince a court that a roman candle classifies as "deadly". Certainly assault though. There's probably some sort of fireworks charges you could stick too.
I think it can include anything that can cause great bodily harm. Every time I work 4th of July I don’t have to wait long for the traumas to roll in. Horrible to say but some of them are so bad it’s kinda cool.
I got hit with a mortar firework once when I was young and dumb and got serious burns to my chest and neck. Luckily I recovered alright but that's the last fireworks war I attend. During the same event anothing kid lost his sight in one of his eyes. Rednecks have fun but that fun isn't always worth it.
I’m glad you were okay! Not everyone is as you said. That shit can go wrong so quickly. Last year we had a patient who’s hand was split in half to the wrist. He got real lucky and we saved his entire hand and kept it fully functioning.
Man. You guys can work some miracles sometimes.
A roman candle could certainly set fire to a building, or to the clothing someone was wearing.
As a firefighter, I agree. All fireworks should be illegal. I’ve responded to a number of injuries and house fires started by fireworks.
Don't be such a party pooper
If we outlaw anything with the potential to be dangerous just because of a few fuckwits life would be boring as fuck
But are fireworks really that great though? They explode, there's some pretty colors, and that's it. It surely isn't worth all the money spent, all the garbage that falls everywhere, and the risk of losing your fingers, your sight, or even your life
Different strokes for different folks.
Clearly theyre pretty beloved by many people, I for one couldn't imagine November 5th without setting off fireworks.
Speaking for public safety, they should be banned. Speaking for fire departments… it’s job security. One call that sticks out in my memory is a ten year old boy that blew half of his hand off. Poor kid changed his life in a flash.
I mean that sucks but it's also the parents fault, I'm not saying we shouldn't be careful with fireworks but outright banning them just punishes the many for the actions of the few.
Well thats no fun...
Sure, but I still don't think you're going to get "assault with a deadly weapon" to stick.
Any object you utilize to assault someone with can be a "deadly weapon" as far as the court is concerned.
> Essentially, any object that can cause great bodily injury or death can be considered a deadly weapon for purposes of assigning guilt for assault with a deadly weapon.
"can be" considered a deadly weapon, but again, I seriously doubt they'd try to go with "assault with a deadly weapon" since they can *definitely* get the guy for assault. They probably wouldn't risk losing the case to go for the more serious charge. They might threaten it to try to get them to plea down I suppose.
Probably something like flying a drone too close to houses without seeking permission? Idk I'm not an expert
I can only speak for my home state but aiming fireworks at someone is a big no no. We're talking felony. The fact that you used a drone instead of your arms doesn't help you.
Operating drone within city limits or something maybe?
Fireworks within city limits definitely depending on country or state if in USA
Assault for sure
Wreckless endangerment possibly
Depending of he had attempted to call the cops, and they didn't resolve the issue...vigilantism?
Being a hero is illegal in today's society.
You are right, listen to loud music in the streets are illegal...
Its asault for one. He could have killed someone
Put an eye out, maybe. Killed someone? That's a little farfetched.
Well that’s a freaking insane way of using a drone…
That you Brazil?
That was my guess haha
Since nobody opened fire on the thing, I will assume this was not in the USA.
Knowing my country, i can almost guarantee you that this was in Brazil.
It was Brazil.
This license plates are 100% not American.
A weapon to surpass metal gear.
"I could break the president in two with my bare hands"

I'm just glad they didn't have drones when I was young and stupid LOL

Dragon fire drone on standby
I feel like this a war crime lmao
Would I do it? No.
Do I understand? 1000%
All in all 10/10 do what you need to do. At the end of the day you not only got justice for yourself but for anyone else in the area that was pissed at the music
He asked them to turn down their music. They refused so he took matters in to his own drone. Wish I could do this to my neighbors some times. Don’t think the HOA would appreciate it much.
When you order a hunter killer drone out of terminator from wish
What a Boss!!!
tahts fucking amazing
We need sound!!
Cyberpunk 2077 theme starts playing
He's probably invested no more than a thousand dollars. Imagine what the military can do with a million bucks a pop. Then imagine a trailer park full of rednecks with ARs shooting into the sky and each other as they're... reminded. Just sayin.
Next time he should buy a really big firework instead of a mini launcher.
No Cyberpunk 2013... first edition stuff...
I 100 need one of those in my life.
This looks fun
Have fun on that list.
Yeah we laugh now …
Somebody throw a toilet paper roll at that thing
*ENEMY AC130 ABOVE!!*
A dick but a fucking funny one
Drone strikes have been around for ~~well over 10 years now~~ just short of 20 years now.
They're in the news all the time...
You know there's a thing called a drone strike right?
Militaries will start using drones?
They can do far worse, I assure you.
Were you born yesterday?
Missiles from drones is a thing.
Where have you been the last 40 years?
The world will never be the same
The evolution of grandpa's in 2021
Twenty first century version of grumpy old man neighbor!

Not warranted but still extremely cool 😂
Obviously this is the future of warfare right here. But you know, with real bullets, or missiles.

This man a true American. Drone striking civilians.

Thanks for the recording of the "accidental" drone strike on those middle eastern kids!
Call of Duty helicopter strike POVs
If bro can do that with fireworks how long this folks are shooting at each other with drones
In the us states that is like 10 different crimes and big punishments:(
This is the future
Sometimes you get an abrupt reminder that you are, indeed, living in the future
On a scale of 1 to yes, how illegal would this be in the US?
As someone with noisy neighbours, this gave me a hard on.
Where can I get Roman candles that shoot that much? It just kept going
