mayonaise by smashing pumpkins
Ari Mason - “Beasts Tonight”
Gorgeous moody electronic track with sultry vocals and cute synths that builds beautifully. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’ve been hammering her albums since I first heard it recently on a discover playlist.
Treaty by yothu Yindi
It's not just a good protest song, it's a great song in general. It's very disco-funk like but also incorporates didgeridoo and electric guitar.
The song is protesting the fact that over 200 years after European settlement, Australia still has not signed a treaty with its indigenous aboriginal peoples about the acquisition of their land.

Super catchy, and with surprisingly good lyrics. A bit of emo leaning rock.
Is it real by Bombay Bicycle Club
Lujon by Henry Mancini
It's not a song, but music, that is quite unique (?). Really love it.

not really a song but you guys should check out
Red Light Spells Danger by Billy Ocean! I’ve loved it for years since my dad used to blast it every time we went for a drive. Now I listen to it every time I’m cleaning and I just get so into it. All the ad-libs, the panicked “no no no no no’s” and the 80s back up singer dance moves it inspires in everyone who hears it just make it the best pop song ever written. Love it.
