Mysterions

Played Atari at a neighbor's, but don't remember what game. I want to say it was some airplane game, but have no idea what. I just remember it controlled terribly and I wasn't impressed. SMB on the NES is the first I can specifically recall. And I remember, that first goomba.... I just couldn't get past him. I also vividly remember trusting the controller in the direction I thought the character was supposed to go. I honestly believe, that phenomenon (I remember a lot of kids doing that back then) is what inspired the Wiimote years later.

RIP [Clive Sinclair](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clive_Sinclair). My very first video game I ever played was a flight simulator on a [Timex / Sinclair 1000](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timex_Sinclair_1000) handed down to me by my uncle. That got my interest in computers started and led me into a productive career in IT.

It was either Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on Gameboy Color, Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis, or Ultimate Doom on PC. I cannot remember exactly.

twothirtyintheam

Coleco Telstar Arcade. It was a triangle shaped 3-in-1 gaming system you plugged into the TV that had a racing game on one side (with a steering wheel and shifter - this was the first game I ever played), a shooting game with a fairly real looking revolver/gun on the 2nd side of the console and on the 3rd side was a game with knobs for controls (didn't play that one much so fuzzy on the details on this one). This was before Nintendo (NES) or Commodore 64 existed.

DocSaysItsDainBramuj

Doom on a floppy disc. Had to take a train to Shelbyville to buy it.
