People of Reddit, what movie could you watch over and over without getting tired of it?
By - TopazThunder
The original Pirates of the Caribbean
Back to the Future (all three, though the first is probably my favourite) and for some reason Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Not really sure why because it's not that outstanding, it's just easy to watch I guess? 🤷🏻♀️
FSM is just brilliantly, unexpectedly funny. It's so awkward and unbelievable and yet totally feels real.
You look like you have some pain behind those eyes.
Take my eyes but not the shirt!
Love both choices!
Emperor’s New Groove! Currently watching it now!
That movie's comedy is so perfectly timed and performed. It's a freakin treasure.
Pull the lever Kronk!
Why do we even have that lever?
Okay why does she even HAVE that lever?
the poison...the poison for kuzco...kuzco's poison
The Hunt for Red October.
I would have liked to have seen Montana
Give me a ping, Vasili? One ping only, please.
'Give Me a Ping, Vasily. One Ping Only.'
My Cousin Vinny
My husband and I have watched My Cousin Vinny at least twice a year since it came out. We’ve watched it three times this year so far. We know every line and speak in sync with the dialogue. We have literally watched it at least 70 times. I’m a NYC Italian living in the south. We relate on every level. I was surprised someone else named that movie. I don’t see us ever getting tired of it.
How adorable you couple of youts are.
Couple of hwats?
Imagine you’re a deer…..
You're prancing along. You get thirsty...
You spot a little brook, you put your little deer lips down to the cool clear water….
The Thing (1982)
Doesn't hurt that the movie somehow gets better with repeat viewing!
The 5th Element.
100% when it came out it was one of only 3 vhs I had of English films when I lived in Spain. Watched it nearly every week. Still love it. Its rated but not rated anywhere near as highly as it should be, characters, quotable lines, Gary Oldman, multipass, mila, music, what's not to like.
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.
Big Bada boom
I always forget that's Gary Oldman. He's so young.
It's the only movie I can remember where the protagonist and antagonist never meet in person. Zorg does fire Corbin though
One day a channel had it playing continuously over 24 hours. I dipped in and out all day. Fantastic movie.
Thank you, Aziz
also one of the best opening lines in a movie: “as far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster”
Like a clown? Like I amuse you?
I’ve seen this movie about 500,000 times and I’d watch it again today and tomorrow
Fat guy in a little coat… fat guy in a little coooaaattt
“I’m on the brute squad.”
“You are the brute squad.”
I'm still amazed that I got to watch it in 4th grade for our Halloween party
Best movie we watched in elementary school
As you wish.
Why are you smiling?
Because I know something you don’t know.
When we got married, our minister started with “mawwiage” to set the tone for the ceremony and invited us to “have fun Stormin’ the castle” in life.
My dad (a pastor) likes to use this at wedding rehearsals to cut everyone's nerves.
When I first watched it, I wasn’t expecting Zorro to appear without his hat. It was inconceivable!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Lol, he is from Sicily and does not mess around.
Except with wine battles
This house is a prison! On planet bullsh*#!
Did we just become best friends?!?
That’s the last straw. I’ll set the building on fire...
You're not dying. You just can't think of anything good to do.
O Brother Where Art Thou?
Damn! We're in a tight spot!
I don't want Fop, god damnit, I'm a Dapper Dan man.
So great. And the music I could listen to over and over.
Any of the Naked Gun movies. And also Airplane
My favorite of all time.
"Andy crawled to freedom through five hundred yards of shit-smelling foulness I can't even imagine. Or maybe I just don't want to. Five hundred yards. That's the length of five football fields, just shy of half a mile."
LILO and stitch
Lock stock and 2 smoking barrels
And none for Gretchen Wieners.
Kingdom of Heaven. Not sure why - it's just super mellow (for the most part).
Wow pleasantly surprised to see this here. The storyline wasn't anything spectacular, but the cinematics, atmosphere, [massive armies](https://youtu.be/xQP0QB4xWHo) and [battles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3OhV7aP2mw) were amazing. Probably the greatest director's cut ever made; instantly changed critics' opinion.
“Hey Beni! It looks to me like you’re on the wrong side of the river!”
Take THAT, Bembridge scholars!
You’re thinking, “what’s a place like me doing in a girl like this?”
Patience is a virtue.
Not right now it isn’t!
Totally holds up
Fun fact: Gerry Goldsmith's estate released an [expanded version of the spectacular film score.](https://www.last.fm/music/Jerry+Goldsmith/The+Mummy+(Expanded+Score))
Lord of the rings
Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Life of Brian
Kung Pow Enter the Fist
I remember.. a long time ago, when a good friend of mine told me there would be a chosen one.
"THERE WILL BE A CHOSEN ONE"
And then he told me of the significance.
"IT WILL BE SIGNIFICANT"
An African or a European swallow?
Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
Big Lebowski. I’m pretty sure I have beak 1000 watch …
I saw that in '15 for the first time. The theater had a costume contest and free ice cream. It was a great experience. Funny movie.
The Big Lebowski, watched it late at night when I was like 14 and it’s been a movie I’ve watched every year since. Be it randomly on tv or me seeking it out this movie always seems to find its way into my life and always makes me laugh.
Pirates of the carribean 1-3, maybe four if you're feeling frisky but absolutely never 5.
I went to see 5 in theaters and it was just horrendously overdone humor. Like PotC is supposed to be an adventure movie with a few one liners here and there.
Casino Royale from the Bond series. Great action, twisting plot, gritty.
That last hand… nearly killed me.
Fight club and Kill Bill 1&2
Empire Strikes Back
Such a good movie. My grandma took me and my little brother to see this in theaters, 12-year-old me felt moved by it. Cried like a baby lol.
Die Hard is pretty much as close to perfection a movie can get.
My brother and I had a full summer where we watched it on repeat as we played pc games like dorks. It was fantastic.
Any luck catching those swans?
It’s just the one swan, actually
I am extremely surprised and disappointed that no-one has replied to this just saying "yarp" yet.
all Simon Pegg movies are great
My wife has never seen Shaun of the Dead and that is changing this week
Yes, I comment this every time this movie comes up and I will never not do it:
"Maybe he wasn't dead."
"We should have made sure."
"How? By cutting his head off, I suppose."
"THAT was uncalled for!"
Oh this is so true! It never gets old! The humor still is funny to this day!
“Who are you?”
“I’m the butler.”
“And what do you do here?”
“I buttle, sir.”
Get’s me every time
Mrs. White: He was deranged he was... lunatic. He didnt seem to like me very much he had threatened to kill me in public.
Miss Scarlet: Why would he want to kill you in public?
Absolutely one of the best movies.
Wadsworth: I think she meant, he threatened in public to kill her.
Flames, on the sides of my face,...
Your first husband also disappeared.
Well, he was an illusionist that was his job.
But he never reappeared!
Lol, he wasn't very good.
I saw this for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I LOVED IT. Tim Curry was just fantastic!
The Breakfast Club. Goodfellas. Chicago. In that order
That was way harsh, Tai.
You’re just a virgin who can’t drive 😩

Alright alright alright
Good Will Hunting
10 Things I Hate About You
"Hello Katarina, made anyone cry today?"
"Sadly no, but it's only 4:30."
God that movie is pure gold
"Remove head from sphincter, then drive!"
This sentence has been uttered by me with my child in the car on more than one occasion through the years.
Heath Ledger was fantastic, but Julia Stiles does not, in my humble opinion, get enough love for her performance in the movie.
My favorite line is “Don’t let anyone, EVER, make you feel like you don’t deserve what you want” It has gotten me through a lot (especially with break ups in my 20s)
Heath singing on the bleachers is one of my favorite movie scenes.
Saving Private Ryan
Lord of the Rings 1-3
Grosse Pointe Blank. Absolute perfection. The story, the acting, the casting, the soundtrack, I love it all.
So happy to see this one listed. A film masterpiece! I’m going to watch it again!
Always forgot about this movie, but absolutely love it.
Spaceballs Basically already did that as a kid.
That first signal still gives me the shivers
The Big Lebowski.
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
The Princess Bride - Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
How to train your dragon.
Month Python and the Holy Grail
I’ve actually watched this film more than 20 times and I can say without skipping a heartbeat that I’d watch it another 20
Absolutely, any day I could watch this classic.
RED, Jaws, The Thing and Jurassic Park.
Better Off Dead
It gets scarier every time I watch it.
The comedy that slowly evolves into a horror film over time.
You graduated from Costco??
Yeah my parents couldn’t believe it either!
I love that documentary.

Shaun Of The Dead
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
The goonies, I watch it at least once a year ☠️

A River Runs Through It
Star Wars A New Hope
School of rock
Baby we were making straight A's
But we was stuck in a dumb daze
Any jack black movie is good to throw on
I worked at a dollar theater when this movie came out. To this day it’s my favorite Adam Sandler movie and I have it memorized
That's awesome because I saw it at a dollar theater! It's my favorite as well, followed by Billy Madison.
The dark Knight
