I think I’ve said it in previous weeks, but going from Heather Gay expressing her religious trauma caused by Mormonism to Emily baptizing her daughter as a Mormon is jarring.
There was a post shared on the exmo subreddit awhile ago regarding the whole baptism storyline before the season aired, you can find it easily by searching for “real housewives” on there. But basically it said something about how they were going to film some female missionaries teaching Anabelle about Mormonism but some producers were unsure of whether or not it was a good idea (I’m just summarizing from memory).
I think it’s also important to note that the reason children are baptized at 8 years old is because baptism in Mormonism is supposed to be a “choice” and they decided that 8 is the age when children are allowed to make such an important choice lol. When she asked Shane what would happen if she didn’t “want to be baptized anymore” and he was like “ahh forget about it, they’ll tell you later” I think that really highlighted the issue with the concept of 8 year olds being able to make this kind of decision of their own free will lol.
From what’s come out, I feel like she’s a bit of a Braunwyn. A lot of exaggerations and half truths. Not sure how they redid this season and the two new girls are both the same profile.
Does Ryne know this is like an intervention? It’s a little insulting to him, no matter how odd he is. Like “here, look at these people, you should be more like them.”
I can't help but wonder if he's trolling the rich folk. Sometimes it *seems* like he knows what to do, how to act, how to dress, but he purposefully shifts it to something odd just to get reactions, because he knows all the rich folk want to be *proper*.
We all know the Dubrow’s are going to send Jen and Ryne home and then the real dinner party will begin where they’re going to talk all about that weird couple.

Then in the lawsuit that was filed against Jen recently, a former employee alleged that Jen had called in an opiate prescription IN THE EMPLOYEES NAME and picked it up. So opiate abuse seems likely, especially given her pain issues with her leg.
It would seem it’s the opiate addiction that he is upset by, which makes her get drunk really quickly, not the alcohol by itself. At one point during the dinner when he got up, it looked almost like he was tearing up, seems like he has just reached his limit with Jen.
Purely speculation but that’s my theory. So not far off from yours honestly!
I cracked up because it didn't really go with what they were talking about. Like he was just sitting there thinking about that stack of vaginas and then blurted out- I don't need a stack of vaginas! It's more likely that they've been joking around about it but I prefer my imaginary scenario.
Remember when David sent Shannon an email saying he was thinking about leaving and then Tamra told Heather who then told a table full of people in a restaurant where David was also eating?
David wasn't there. It was the mistress and/or a friend of the mistress that was at the table who then told David who subsequently started angrily texting Shannon.
I do not like Dr. Jen, she puts Ryne down and treats him like he’s an idiot and speaks for him. Of course he would act like a child when mommy does everything for him and then demeans him for it.
Also, dude has never had a job. Ever. When terry said “she met her perfect person” and Ryne or whatever said “tell her that,” I cringed. She wants more than he can give. Dude changed his name for … why? HOWEVER, my attitude definitely changed after tonight. She was drinking to fit in, feel comfortable, numb her pain. He was so uncomfortable, I felt so bad for him too. She knows this isn’t his element. That’s why she “praised” him on the way home - “you did so good.” He’s not your dog Jen. BUT again, at the same time, he’s never worked and has a nanny??? Idgi
I kind of get the feeling she was attracted to him physically and nothing more. He went for the ride early on but her idea was to change him into what she wanted him to be and he obviously didn’t go along.
Gina is so effing annoying. It’s apparently okay for her to say Shannon is jealous but she gets pissed that Shannon supposedly said she toots her own horn. No one is jealous of Gina.
I seriously cannot believe she’s coming out with a skincare line. That is such an over saturated market and not an original idea at all. It’s so boring, just like Gina.
What type of host intentionally makes someone, who clearly is introverted and uncomfortable in social settings, be put in the spotlight and answer a question? Lady, he doesn’t want to talk about it and he’s at least the only part of this duo acting appropriate right now so leave him and his bib alone.
It's a shame because there's a lot I like/ find relatable about Gina, but her constant sucking up to Heather and trying to stir the pot with Shannon is so off putting.
Heather, if you knew anything about marriage counseling as you seem to think you do, then you would understand why Ryne gets more introverted the more drunk Jen gets. He is obviously uncomfortable and embarrassed, this is not the first time this has happened with them.

They could have asked Ryne about being a professional gambler, that’s very unique and I think most people would find it interesting. It would have been a way to include him in the conversation
