No, they just have common sense.

No, they just have common sense.

TheFelineWarrior

Did this comrade just say “it’s fucking pointless”? Does that mean they’re going to give up on propagating communism?

polle_den_tweede

I too hope that they'll give up on that.

No_Assignment1434

It means they're gonna have adopt the socialist style (election) poll rigging. What surprises me more that two thousand people thought that it was complicated instead just of saying no. Though I don’t mind them saying it.

OneofTheOldBreed

That bothered me immediately as well.

coolbutnotcoolman64

We won the useless internet war?

KillMeIfYuGay

The real war is yet to come..... Nah im kidding there is no way the fat tankies are able to fight lol

coolbutnotcoolman64

I wonder how will a war between both nations that their populations are: 1 all of the r/enoughcommiespam users and flr the other being all of the r/genzedong users. I feel like if all users from the 2 subs will participate in a war against eachother we will probably be the one's to win. Mostly because we are less into deep hell holes and focus on real life more.

KillMeIfYuGay

We also have higher manpower

IHaveThe_

Wait we do?

gecko579

About 11000 more, though some will be infiltrators on both sides

ReddeningStars

And more common sense.

MisterPhamtastic

The only fighting they can do requires a mouse and keyboard sadly

anxious_pikachu

Have you ever seen what a peaceful takeover of a country looks like? It's not in your history books, but your living it. I mean there's still the probability of war, but that's the result of capitalists.

clever_cow

Imagine inventing an economic system which fails to account for human nature and considers everyone brainwashed for not going against human nature. Lol classic Karl

pocketgravel

Karl Marx is the 19th century /b/ incel autist who llves in his mother's basement writing essays about how the world should be different, and if everyone used his system to govern society then he wouldn't be such a loser.

pork26

Do you ever remember hearing about a successful self sustaining communist commune?

DeviousMelons

No because any that do work are far too small to be noticed.

pork26

Dumping the old bong water,

lonelygirl4625

Well, ok. People are not so much into communism as we think. "Well, it's complicated" means people might agree in part with the philosophy, but know very well the catastrophe it causes. :)

TheDarkLordOfAutism

I love democracy

Buroda

…wow. I expected Reddit to fanboy for the ol’ hammer’n’sickle more.

Call_me_Vonic

Reddit is finally based for once?

m0grady

You NeEd tO ReAd M0re THeoRy!

Nails_on-chalk-board

Honestly ‘it’s complicated’ is the best choice. The best way I’ll describe the legacy of communism Is like two mountains, one is a mountain of the horrifying shit and all the reasons it shouldn’t be used and the other is the good it did (making a backwards peasant slave state into a industrial superpower, like the USSR. Promoting work unions in the west), you can’t talk about one without the other.

StrikeTheSun1851

No nuance allowed here!!

Call_me_Vonic

The irony in communists calling other people brainwashed.

Divniy

2k in "Its complicated" is really sad.

thebigmumaw

It’s probably people who say “it’s good in theory but doesn’t work in practice.” Which is not really the case at all but it’s one of those stances you take when you haven’t looked deeply into the issue. Either that, or people who like certain elements of it but don’t like all the repercussions (ie, free stuff sounds great, but economic collapse does not).

Puglord_Gabe

Yeah, generally people who say that think the theory says “sharing it caring”, when in reality the theory is almost if not as bad as the practice

esgellman

Also too many people in America really don't have a great grasp of political theory and terminology. To most of them communism=socialism=any government intervention in the economy, so communism=Soviet oppression but also communism=OSHA.

Divniy

I bet it's second. Because if something doesn't work, it's bad, not complicated. Which means lots of people share the views on problem solving, and despise capitalistic approaches without properly understanding them. This is dangerous, because populists might start promoting those solutions.

anxious_pikachu

You mean like universal healthcare, a socialist idea that the rest of the developed world has adopted, except for America. Where people that are dying call an Uber instead of an ambulance cause it's cheaper. The odd ones out is you. The rest of the world just looks on in horror that tons of people get sick and go bankrupt at the same time because of the for profit healthcare system you have. Not to mention people dying cause they can't afford medication.

Divniy

So if that's so profitable to run a medical facility in USA, why don't you open one with a bit cheaper prices? Would be still profitable and you'll help lots of people, win-win, right? Think about why you can't do that. Now rethink: is it really capitalism to blame?

anxious_pikachu

I mean your showing why capitalism doesn't work. If I opened a hospital, firstly I can't afford that so it would never happen already. The price of everything would still be overly expensive, everything costs more cause the entire industry in the US is in on the scam. Thank you for this example, it's a good demonstration as to why the free market model doesn't work, especially in regards to something you don't have a choice for like healthcare.

Divniy

If everything costs so much in US, why nobody packs medications from Canada and drives them there? Check the prices for insulin. Do you still need insane capital for a van and a bit of medications? So you didn't come to conclusion that everything costs a whole lot because you have regulations, and this branch in totally rotten with cronyism? Why do you think it will get better if you pour it with taxpayers money?

anxious_pikachu

> If everything costs so much in US, why nobody packs medications from Canada and drives them there? Check the prices for insulin. Do you still need insane capital for a van and a bit of medications? Insurance companies actually fly people out to Mexico to pick up their medicine, and give them $100, cause it's cheaper to do that than it is to buy the medicine in the US lmfao. You aren't very well informed are you lol. > So you didn't come to conclusion that everything costs a whole lot because you have regulations, and this branch in totally rotten with cronyism? Why do you think it will get better if you pour it with taxpayers money? Cause I look at every other country in the developed world, and they are able to create a better system for cheaper than what America has. You are the exception that proves the rule. Healthcare should be a right, not a for profit business.

SandersDelendaEst

It’s not that bad of answer. I’ll take it.

Captainbeefster

“They disagree with me. They’re brainwashed!” Shouts the communist crowd.

anxious_pikachu

People weren't able to admit communism wasn't working. The same thing is happening now with capitalism. You are so brainwashed you won't let go of capitalism. It's just as bad as Soviet Union communism, if not worse. We literally are killing out planet to be devoid of life for profit.

RundownRanger35

I love how they speak like we are the ones falling victim to obvious propaganda and cover ups and not them

nate11s

Majority sayisaying it's complicated" is apparently not good enough Imagine if the same happened with a poll on fascism

decojason

Holy shit. I was expecting the poll to just be everyone voting for communism. Reddit is based as fk now?

hahAAsuo

Some of them have common sense. It’s not ‘complicated’

samsonity

Pot meet kettle
