If your motherboard can handle more GPUs, this will split one of your x1 slots into 4 x1s https://www.amazon.com/XT-XINTE-Riser-Multiplier-Express-Machine/dp/B07CSQDHBV/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=pcie+splitter&qid=1623803800&sprefix=pcie+spli&sr=8-3

Seriously??? What's the catch here? Fire risk anything? Does this work for amd cards? How do I figure out if my motherboard can handle more?

Have any free u.2 or Nvme slots?

finmat42

I use this exact one on my rig. It's generally not recommended, so I wouldn't plug 4 cards in that thing, but I have 2 in mine for a few months now and no issues. Just a daily touch check to make sure all is OK haha.

No catch I have seen other than some motherboards seem to like them more than others. The power comes through the risers, so no risks involved with using them as they are data only. I have run multiple rigs using these to push MBs beyond the number of pcie slots that were available on the board.

TheAlphaLion_com

i only see 2. where's the other 2?

BigDikChikdotCom

Red cables pcie slots into riser
