***Marshals of the French Empire in order of Merit...***
You can just hear the music starting to play, *terror belli decus pacis!*
Lannes is my favorite, his death is sad af
Man got disrespected by a cannon ball. Sad af
Yeah, and is friend right before him
Marshal Soult my Bias
That’s the channel that got me into Napoleon, so well done
Soult was not in that silly portrait with his huge belly and baby chin. Great loss for him.
And Ragusa still got too high.
Bernadotte should not be number 18 but 30, after his silver coins...
He engineered the Trachtenberg plan.
J U D A S
He did not betray France. He was not in allegiance with Bonarparte.
How could a Swede betray France anyway? Only a French could betray France.
bernadotte was french dummy
He... self defined as Swedish later.
You cant change ethnicity..
But you could change homeland. If all French must serves Napoleon to death, how dare Eisenhower's grandparents immigrate? How dare Eisenhower fight Hitler?
And how dare Napoleon, born as citizen of the Kingdom, proclaim his own empire? He shall serve fatty Louis as Bernadotte serve him: As a slave serving his own nation state. Ironic, eh?
You can’t change homeland, its in the name. HOMEland. The place ur from ethnicity and almost always born wise, Bernadotta was born in france with french parents which makes him french. And i never once mentioned or talked about what you just ranted about so thats weird.
Soult in Spain looks like he aged in reverse mode.
>aged in reverse mode
If you kept looting for 4 years, you too will feel young again, my friend.
Thanks I will try that out in my local bank :))
that is sadly not the worst portrait of soult out there :p
That version looks quite funny. How could he looks worse?
google will give you what you seek... its as if different artists are painting completely different people
***My top three marshals would be : 1) Marshal Lannes***
***2) Marshal Suchet***
***3) Marshal Berthier***
I just love how everyone is wearing nearly the same uniform and then there's Murat doing his own thing in uniform.
He is France's BEAU SABREUR (dashing swordman) and Flamboyant cavalry leader.
So he is Napoleon’s Göring?
I would say Napoleon's Rommel because he was also a daring and skillfull commander (and they both try to betray their commander in chief)
Davout will always be my favorite…his performance at Auerstedt is the stuff of legend; not to mention I liked that he openly wore glasses and wasn’t afraid to show it!
Why do they look mostly like the same person lol? Are they twins?
Masséna is in my opinion the best, sadly his accomplishments where undervalued in this series.
