sgwc_ying_ko

Yeayyyy

FAPS_TO_DEAD_BASTION

People always talk about Hino Enma being a big wall in the game but Yuki Onna was a WAY bigger wall for me. Hino Enma took me like 4 maybe 5 tries. Easily double that for Yuki Onna

ooOJuicyOoo

Jesus you beat bosses with death in the single digits??

Murtaza-Rizvi

It took alot on hino Emma for me but it taught me how to play the game

McDKirra

GG!

NostalgicKunt

nice!

Lotuswarrior830

IIRC this was the last true hurdle for me. If your experience is anything like mine, it's mostly smooth sailing from here on out. At this point, you must have figured out your preferred play style and started properly building your character. Edit: well, I do remember the DLC bosses giving me nightmares, making every boss in the game looks like child play in comparison, sooo... yeah.

sailor_Caoimhe

Welcome samurai! This game has truly ruined how I want swordplay to feel in any videogame.

Sonny_Firestorm135

You too, huh? (Nioh set the bar too high when it comes to swordplay, holy shit)

sailor_Caoimhe

Yup. I've been replaying Ghost of Tsushima and 2018 god of war and both just feel SO slow and heavy by comparison. Everything is just fluid and intuitive in Nioh.

TheBigTimer039

abso fucking lutely it is, over 400 hours on both games and i don’t regret it not 1 bit

BioDioPT

Nioh 2 is my favorite PS4 exclusive, the game is just amazingly fun to play.

krasnovian

Is it still an exclusive if it's on PC?

BioDioPT

Console exclusive, but if you prefer, it's my favorite PS4 game

stargazer1Q84

and it's only getting better with the DLC. seriously, Dragon of the North is such a massive step up from the already great base game.

mikeneko210

Noh-Hime (the wife of Oda Nobunaga resurrected by Kelley as Yuki-Onna) was one of the most badass boss-fight, but can't deny I cried like crazy during the cutscene of her death. The most meaningful boss ever fought. I agree with you that this game is amazing. Keep going my friend. You'll surely love it as you progress.

stargazer1Q84

you cried like crazy?

mikeneko210

Yeah, not exactly in a mad way. Just I had a strong emotional reaction that led almost led me to cry. \^\^;

stargazer1Q84

alright, man.

Sushiion

I beat her first try! I'm currently playing on PS5!

Jaybird690

If you plan on nioh 2, they will reuse that map but change it a bit, and also it takes place 16 years before so you will get tenkai’s backstory

TheBigTimer039

spoiler alert ?

flydales

Is it Kasha's map?

jhannus

Yup I’m pretty sure it is. Both are said to be Honnoji temple just either covered w ice or fire.

flydales

Damn, the stuff I miss.

jhannus

It’s an easy one to miss! But you can tell by piecing together the snippets found in descriptions n stuff. Plus Yuki was Oda’s wife who you fight in the first, and in the second you’re there to save the temple n Yasuke joins you.

Lotuswarrior830

Oh wow! I've replayed each game multiple times and yet I never realized that. So neat!

jhannus

Yeah it’s actually a pretty cool was to reuse stuff imo. One is covered in ice with the ice Queen boss and the other covered in fire.

TheBigTimer039

yes it’s in the same temple
