Bad vision maybe? I was born with a weak eye, and if I hadn't gotten glasses as a kid, I probably would have had it be smaller and undersized compared to my other, dominant eye, as my brain and body compensated for the defect. If your vet can't find any injury or sickness causing it, might just be that kitty needed glasses, but that's not a thing.

Ooo that may be it, she does have so trouble seeing when people come up on her side from that way, though another reddit or said something about FIV and their pet looked similar to mine. I have a vet appointment soon so I'm hoping it's nothing bad (I doubt it is)and that I can finally figure out why my kitty gives me the evil eye haha

I'm no vet, but our cat looks similar. When we took him to a specialist to figure out what's wrong, she said that he was exposed to FIV in utero so that eye never fully developed because of it. He has a normal eye and then a smaller less vibrant looking eye like that!

Oh wow! That could be the case since it sounds so similar! I have a vet appointment scheduled for sometime next month so I wonder if they'll find that 🤔

Mb he was actually exposed to herpes virus. But it could be! We went to 3 vets and none knew what to do and were prescribing antibiotics and antiviral meds. It wasn't until we saw a specialist that we found out nothing was truly wrong.

Does it water a lot? I don't know if it can happen in cats, but my dogs eyes looked like this and it turns out that it was a condition where the eyelids formed folded over, pressing the lashes into the eye and it required surgery to correct. From what I can tell from your pictures I don't see that, though. Seems like one eye is just a bit smaller than the other.

No, she's never had any issues with watering, or eye boogers and stuff that would hint at anything like that. I do have a vet appointment set up to get her checked out though to make sure it's okay and nothing bad

Yeah then I wouldn't worry unless the vet gives you a reason. I'm betting your girl is a just a unique beauty!
