Suikoden 2 and star ocean 2nd story first equal for sure then ff7 in a close 2nd

deafchef52

Came here looking for Suikoden ll. There is supposed to be a spiritual succesor by the same individuals that worked on the first couple of games. But I haven't seen anything on it since the kickstarter was first mentioned.

AardvarkExtreme9666

Last time i checked they were way over there kickstarter goal, the games called elyuden chronicle super hype for it.

deafchef52

Same! Hands down one of my favorite series.

AardvarkExtreme9666

Thank you for reminding me wishlisted the rising version on steam, looks like hundred heros wont be out till 2023 😭

lenorenny

I also quite enjoyed legend of dragoon

AllOnMyOwn1

Parasite Eve

ChadTheTranquil2

There it is.

SeverenLee

Xenogears

Tough-Picture

No FF VIII, no Grandia, no Valkyrie profile smh

halica84

The obligatory Final Fantasy 7, but also Star Ocean: The Second Story.

soliloquy1985

Easily Final Fantasy VII. My second favorite is a toss up between Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy Tactics, or Parasite Eve.

Zembar

FF is good. But my heart goes to Lunar:SSSC

FordcliffLowskrid

All good games on this list, but I give a vote to *Thousand Arms* because of how goofy and light-hearted that game is. And it has the horniest protag in JRPG history.

Legend of the Dragoons….it took over my life

[deleted]

I'm ashamed that I am an old school gamer, my first console was in NES, and RPGs are my favorite genre, and I've played literally none of these. So I'm really curious which one I would like more.

tstorm004

I'm voting Wild Arms! Lunar's also amazing - but I still consider that a Sega CD game in my mind.

Exzalian_

Um tiny tank no other game comes close

DarthSlymer

Wild Arms was a great game during this period but FFVII was mind blowing at the time.
