You Paid For It: Here’s a look at crime in St. Charles
By - PeddlerOfMisery
but everyone at r/StLouis told me St Charles is such a horrible place!
It's not bad at all if you're white and into racism, fear mongering, pseudoscience, and condescension.
lol. I’m not white, and not in to any of that other stuff either. Let me tell you what I AM in to: safe and clean communities, not having robbery at the forefront of my mind when I go out, parking my car in the street without fear of it being broken in to, police that actually do their job, and fireworks being my first thought when I hear pops at night.

Yeah a lot of people were really into those but they were really not into black people so they took billions of dollars across the river in one of the largest white flights in the nation and made St. Charles!
They drained the city of all revenue and support, vetoed every attempt to bring the communities together, installed people at the state level hellbent on stripping and and all financial stability from urban regions, and created a giant issue with a devoid tax base that they now love to point at from across the river and laugh. Part of the whole "condescension" thing I was talking about.
All simply to avoid having to live next door to and provide basic services like education to anyone with a different level of melanin in their skin than they had.
Plenty of good people there like anywhere else, but the roots and very foundation of the city are built on segregation and prejudice and they do everything they can to continue to perpetuate that.
You sound like a condescending, fear mongering racist.
Condescending sure. The post deserves that.
You sound bitter about living in St. Louis.
I don't live in St. Louis chief.
Sorry if stating simple facts about an area triggered you tho.
Do you street park the viper
No Chris I don't, but I have no second thoughts about parking it overnight in my driveway when I've had to, alongside the other two vehicles that I park out there every night. What's your point?
I was just kidding. I recognized your username, haha.
LOL You MFer I just looked at your profile to see who you were 🤣🤣🤣
I like st chuck much more now then I ever have. I have my reasons why but there are nice parts of st Charles and I know people may not like it but I think new town is very cool. Don’t know a thing about it other then almost rented something in there but ended up passing. Kind of regret it. I do believe they have plenty of crime though this can’t be right that it’s so safe I know a lot of bad shit to have gone down in st Charles.
Looks like the title was altered to 'You Paid For It: St. Charles has the area’s lowest crime rate'
42 now, moved here when I was 19. Saw friends from school od and get locked up and didn’t want to be part of those crowds anymore. It’s felt like Mayberry ever since.
