"Here's your present so you can spend money at my shop!"
By - Potat2ball
You can either:
* Sell him back the content if it's something worthy, so he takes a loss.
* Give him the contents as a gift, if it's something like clay or copper ore. His birthday just so happens to be on the 26th...
Oo is selling the minerals back the same price as putting it in the shipping bin?
Yes. The only difference is that you get the money right away.
Oh cool I never knew. damn...I could have opened more geodes at once
Search for the geode crusher, saves you money and cuts clint out of actual profit
Ehhh..... Geode crusher requires Coal.... so unless you have an overabundance of coal on your hands, not much cheaper.
Oh damn. 60 hours in and I always still learn new things about stardew. Thanks for the tip:)
Only on v1.5+ :(
I see OP is on PC, but I am just still bummed that Vita was abandoned and stuck on v1.2.
I think it also doesn't count for shipping achievements (Full Shipment mainly) but those are easily completed.
If I recall correctly you don't have to ship minerals to complete the shipping tab, only metal ores and coal.
Yeah, a given item has a single price, apart from any bonuses.
He likes just geodes too so you don’t even have to waste the money cracking it open to give to him! :)
He even gives a sigh of contentment
bruh how did you never get a geode until the feast of the winter star
I did. It's my 2nd winter already. Idk why it gave that prompt though
I think the prompt pops up anytime Clint gives geodes as gifts. I know it popped up for me when I was on year 2, after spending the majority of my time in the mines and skull cavern.
Some people don't do the mines until later on, the great part of this game, you don't HAVE to do anything you don't want to.
But if you never do the mines, you're gonna have a terrible time farming with your wooden tools and no sprinklers.
you could possibly just buy the resources needed to upgrade them without needing to mine
You could unlock the quarry and get resources there. Works for my kid who sucks at combat
True, though the earliest that's possible is winter of year 1.
She tends to her animals in the morning and sleeps at 7am so it works out haha
well sure, but not everyone's looking for efficiency I suppose. (Not me, my farm is like 99% automated lol)
Technically you don't HAVE to do anything in any game, but you HAVE to go into the mines to 100% stardew valley
It may have been a glitch or something.
My guy stop creepin on my wife
Imagine opening that geode and getting coal...
Literally ever since the geode crusher was added I’ve just been hoarding my geodes until I can get it. Clint. Stop creeping on my crazy best friend/ex wife/mother of my third dove.
Sells it out of spite.
Gift it back to him and see how he likes it
"Business has been slow lately" - Clint after I spend 2 and a half million at his shop on ore and coal.
it'll be funnier if gunther is the one who give you this
"i give you this geode, spend the money to break it and give me the mineral/artifact "
It's Clint. I think it's less about the money and more about getting you, a woman, into his shop.
Hopefully something good is in there so the last laugh will be you.
Huh that made me think, is it possible to restart the day and get a new present?
It's like he gave you a box lol
Save it then give it to him for someday in 25th Dec.
I remember getting Lewis as my secret friend, and he's the one telling you who your secret friend is.
I always befriend Clint and he gave me an iridium bar on my first year on my last playthrough. Take that Clint haters!
I don’t understand the Clint hate, myself. But he also gave me an iridium bar on my first year, so I guess he just picks his favorites.
Clint gave me iridium bars two years in a row! It was great because I hadn’t hit skull cavern yet!
It's like receiving a kinder surprise for Christmas xD
Laughs in geode crusher
It would be cool if You could buy an anvil and have one in your house
Geode crusher. But you have to give it a coal to break things open.
This is why emily will never be with him
Clint once gave me an iridium bar as a gift
