The D4V2's aux LED's come on when the light is off. That's how it's supposed to work and that's how it comes set from the factory. There are 4 modes the aux LED's can be set to (low-high-blinking-off). If you just really don't like them, you can turn them off. To move to the next mode in the cycle, click 7x from off. Clicking 7x and holding the last click will let you choose between 7 colors, rainbow, and voltage mode. The settings for the aux LED's in lockout mode are different. In lockout, it's click 3x to change mode and it's click 3x and hold the last click to change color. I leave them on because I think they look cool and they use *very* little power. Even in "high" mode they'll take weeks or months to drain the battery. If I'm going to be storing the light or putting it in a bag or something, I just unscrew the tailcap very slightly and that cuts power and turns the aux LED's off. Much easier than clicking a bunch of times to get them to turn off and then clicking a bunch more times when I want them back on. Check out [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/jvr5mr/d4v2_aux_voltage_mode_visual_test/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) for how to read the voltage mode. [Here's a text breakdown.](https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/no51gj/volt_check_aux_lights_not_usual_bluegreenred_on/gzz7itr?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). The linear (KR4) driver uses all the colors, but the FET+1 (stock) driver just uses blue (mostly full), green (medium charge), and red (low charge). Tried to gather alternative diagrams on my site if this one didn’t help. Link: https://rymannreviews.wordpress.com/user-manuals/

If Anduril 1: 7 clicks. if that only changes brightness, repeat.

/u/Brokenrecordbot anduril 7 clicks from off

[This is the best explanation of Anduril.](https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/m6s98h/help_i_want_a_hank_light_but_im_not_an_expert_in/gr7htyn?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Please see the [Anduril UI Diagram](https://imgur.com/5H5CWjo). If you haven't read the [text-based version](https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~toykeeper/flashlight-firmware/fsm/view/head:/ToyKeeper/spaghetti-monster/anduril/anduril-manual.txt) first, it won't make much sense. Some people find [this alternative diagram](https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/hrtun4/an_alternate_style_to_the_and%C3%BAril_reference/) a bit easier to process. [Here](https://imgur.com/a/aRr9AOH) Is another alternative anduril diagram (by u/containerfan ) that might also help. ^(I AM A BOT. PM WITH SUGGESTIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS.
