[NLD] LT1 Anduril 2 - Green
By - kanakana2
I held off so long on buying one - and when I heard that they were putting Anduril 2 in it, and saw it was on sale on Lazada, I pulled the trigger.
Absolutely a steal for $50. Build feels even more solid than Sofirn's usual offerings - it's got a nice weight to it.
Anduril 2 is great of course. Sunset mode is a joy, been falling asleep with it every night since I got it.
Now to find some good magnet attachment mods for it...
I just got one as well and plan on getting [these](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B085NP6SQY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_63CYF4CB0PEV7PNZB02C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) for a magnet mod. They screw right into the holes in the light.
I would really love to get one of those, but Amazon shipping to my country is just too expensive. I have to diy something with materials I can source locally...
Aww that sucks! I hope you're able to find something!
[It's funny how I used to think my SP36 was soooo massive...](https://i.imgur.com/Y0XzNRF.jpg)
But the 4x18a and LT1, really feel great
Perfect pairing! I love that the flat top 18650 adapter that comes with the 4X18A can be used with the LT1 as well
Yup, and Simon even threw an extra one in the box for me for free - now I can use flat tops in both lights at the same time! What a swell guy
I'm still having trouble understanding the interface, but will keep at it. I found the instructions overly complicated.
Are you using the diagram? Some people have said that the text based document manual is much more helpful (and vice-versa the other way too I guess).
It's true, it's still a bit to get your head around, but I tend to fidget with my lights a lot, so practice makes perfect I guess.
I sometimes wish the light had less features, to make it easier to operate. Just haven't used it often enough, only for camping. May keep out for use around my home.
You can put the light into muggle mode (Anduril 1) or simple UI (Anduril 2, latest LT1 with power bank feature) mode to achieve exactly that.
I hear you - it's definitely one of those things that are very 'involved', the UI. It's really rich, almost overwhelmingly so...
I was new to enthusiast flashlights. Way I tackled it was just take it one “group/mode” at a time. Frequent use helps a lot. What specifically is giving you trouble
The biggest hurdle is doing the four clicks to go in and out of lockout. Seems like I don't always get it right. Sometimes just unscrew the batteries and screw back in to reset. Like I told another person here, I only use for camping, so will keep it out and use around my home, to get use to the functions.
Yeah I got lost a few times just need to develop a steady rhythm when counting clicks
