Recommendation for fishing light

Less than $15 is tough. I would probably go to a big box store and just try and get the brightest thing you can that's within your budget and has some kind of water resistance rating (IPX7 or better probably).
Options are pretty limited for $15.
You could go for one of Sofirn's D25 units, $15+ with a cell included, it comes in a couple of different LED options like LH351D or SST40. Not sure which one is better for blasting into water, the SST40 maybe.
The benefit of headlamp like d25s, keeps your hands free for work, and it also has built in charging port, no need to fork out for an external charger
I love the D25S, I have like 5 of them. I used to have 6, but they are definitely, definitely, not waterproof.
My logic is: if the strap is firmly enough attached to your head, then it's 'waterproof' 😂
Jokes aside, finding all OP's specs for under $15 is tough. OP also didn't mention whether they had all the external battery chargers and cells etc, so I looked for something that was all-inclusive.
Yea I don't have any chargers or anything, haven't owned one that uses rechargeable batts. Also waterproof not in the sense that I will use for diving, just in case I drop it into the water for a short while
Does a Convoy s2+ with an osram emitter fit under $15? Batteries and a charger would cost extra, but they'll be cheaper long term, compared to buying more and more AAs to stick in a grocery store light.
Unless you are dunking it in the water to shine then S2+.
If you are wanting to hold it under water then you can look at Sofirn dive lights but they'll be a little more monies. Not much more though.
Thanks for the recommendations, will check them out!
