Being outside with lighting in the area

Ok now that's funny
Lightning strikes the tall.
"The midget stands proudly in the thunderstorm". - Ethiopian proverb
Is it actually?
Its on the internet isnt it? Ye of little faith.
he looks like he broke a display microwave at ikea
Sounds like you speak from experience
I've ran to the bathroom like that before
"This is gonna be a photo finish!"
Your face says it all:
“This was fun but I’m out!” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm a rural carrier who delivers around a lot of flat farmland.
Even when I'm in my vehicle, lightning storms are terrifying. The problem is, my delivery route is, for the most part, so flat that I can see for miles and miles all around me, so every lightning strike in the entire county seems like it's closer than it is.
That, and I'm not sure if my car will protect me if a lightning bolt hits a mailbox while I'm sitting next to it with an open window.
It will not.
"Hello everyone this is YOUR daily dose of internet"
Colbert got scared.
This is memeable
Yes, outdoor "lighting" is scary!
The sun is a deadly laser!
Not sure what the issue is with lighting, I prefer to be able to see things.
I've been within fifty feet of at least half a dozen lightning strikes. Enough that I've lost count. Not sure why I've never been struck. A couple of them were less than 20 feet. One time, I was in my backyard looking up at the cloud over my house when a super-bright light came out of the cloud right above me and split into three bolts that hit about 70 feet away from me on three sides. It was insane. Every time lightning hits close to me, I have a hard time thinking for 10-15 minutes. Sometimes I feel sort of tingly just before it hits. Lightning ain't no joke.
I made record time hiking off a mountain when a sudden storm rolled in. Was at about 10,000 feet and the clouds seemed to be at most 1000 - 2000 feet above. It's odd the feeling before a strike happens. Went back to the same area a while later and was surprised by the same. A lot of trees along the trail got struck.
The look on that guy's face, LOL 😆
Let's hope those aren't metal glasses, because he's a pretty good path to ground
That seems close. I remember a redditor mentioning there’s a system for judging to GTFO based in how many seconds between when it strikes and you hear it?
Yeah sound travels at about 300m/s so you can approximate the distance based on the difference between the flash and the thunder. If it strikes close enough, which has happened on many occasions to me, it’ll be instant and the loudest sound you’ll probably ever hear. You can literally feel the sound in your chest
Nah see, I’m good on that. I got respect Mother Nature, we cool!
Why do people run after lightning strikes lol
They don’t want to get struck by the second bolt
This is great lmao
Is thy mclovin
I see no lighting. Not a street lamp in sight.
That’s the look of a dumb ass
How is this instant regret?
McLovin discovers fire!
When the lightning and thunder hit at the same time.
He took it rather well to be honest.
Let me tell you, lightning will hard reboot your brain like few other things
If there is one thing I learned in my meteorology class, it’s that being inside won’t save you.
Lightning is fucking terrifying.
