I started a new play through with a survival mod where’s I have limited carrying capacity and much more. Should I go light or heavy armor?

Are we not... um... that potion :l

Joshurabi

That’s part of the mod as well. Health regenerates very slowly in the game and potions instead of restoring just help regenerate.

KeepOnSlippin69

I usually do it the stuoid way and mix all of them together. Pretty dumb but i gotta have the drip

KeepOnSlippin69

Stupid*

bandoftheredhand17

What is “the drip”?

KeepOnSlippin69

Whatever armor sets match together and look good really

bandoftheredhand17

Ahhh gotcha. Very cool 😎

TBoneHolmes

Hey, there’s a benefit to mixing. You get to level up your light and heavy armor at the same time lol

JDGumby

Light, obviously. Heavy's hard enough to tolerate with normal weight capacity (if you don't beeline to the Steed Stone). It becomes crippling with reduced weight capacity.

k_chaney_9

Until you get the perk where it weighs nothing.

JDGumby

Yes, but you'll have to go to extreme lengths to get to Heavy Armor 70 while you've still got game left to play. I know that I've never gotten it much past 50 before the end of the main quest...

k_chaney_9

A little tip to make it easier/faster: grind your way through the companions questline so you can get farkas as a follower and every time you level up buy 5 heavy armor levels and then ask him to trade things with you and you can get all your gold back.

Matt_A001

How about no armor?

MatheusFerrao1

Light

syntax7error

Use steed stone if you're going to use heavy armor. Makes it cost nothing to wear.

Joshurabi

I didn’t think of that. Thanks.

TBoneHolmes

Heavy! It doesn’t matter once you level your armor up to 100. Once you get there, it doesn’t weigh anything. I personally would cope with the extra weight until I get level 100 heavy armor.

JDGumby

> I personally would cope with the extra weight until I get level 100 heavy armor. Level 70 skill, actually. And even that takes forever to reach. Both Heavy Armor characters I've gotten through Alduin around level 50 had barely even cracked skill 50.

TBoneHolmes

Well yeah, everything in Skyrim takes forever. It’s Skyrim

Joshurabi

Thanks for the feedback.
