Those stickers come off super easily!! Just get your nail under one corner and pull slowly, it shouldn’t leave any residue :)

thenutmegelf

Really? Even on the paper-ish tag?

starstruckpyromaniac

Yes I’ve pulled the stickers off many times w no damage just do it very slowly so it comes off in one piece

BigFatMonkeyButt04

Tj maxx worker here! Idk why but we always receive squishmallows with the stickers covering the tag its honestly annoying and I wish we didn't receive them like

thenutmegelf

Really? I always thought you guys put the stickers on, at my old retail Job we always did

BigFatMonkeyButt04

Nope all of our stuff comes pre-ticketed unless if it's for the home department then sometimes we have to put the ticket on ourselves but squishmallows always come with the sticker already on them.

thenutmegelf

Whhhhaaaat, you learn something new every day lmao

wolfyLucifier69

Try a hairdryer or some other heat source, it has never failed with getting a sticker off

milklapper

Mine had one too, I *s l o w l y* pulled it off and it came off just fine! Just go slow and with even strength.

Me0wlodyy

Saaameee LOL, I just found 💙Cora💜 & 🖤Cam🤎 Hugmees today at Winners & Cam's was riiiight on the front, so I had to just hold my breath & have hope😅 but everything worked out just fine!!🐾😹💕

milklapper

I'm so glad it worked out for you! I always get mild anxiety when I give advice that I know could be wholly a one time occurrence lmao

Greenfingers9

Un-du Sticker Remover is amazing for this, I used to work at a scrap book store and you can get any sticker off with that stuff and it doesn’t leave a residue!

deloresclaiborne

I HAAAATE THAT THEY ALL DO THIS

uni58

Yes hold it next to some heat like a blow dryer and then it should heat up the stickiness. After that it will be easy to pull off!

Yeah having worked there it all comes from distribution, and it’s likely a brand thing. Name brands don’t necessarily like people knowing you can get their products cheaper at a discount store, so they de incentivize looking for the brand at these stores by doing things like this. Some brands straight up cannot be displayed on any endcap or promo display. Also the distribution centers for these discount stores are absolutely nuts. You literally couldn’t fathom how many products these people need to quickly tag so they just pick the quickest easiest spot. Some brands even go as far as to cross out their name, or remove their tags from the product before letting these discount stores have them. Forgot another reason, discount stores are insanely high theft, so if they don’t put the sticker on an easy to see spot for employees, and difficult to remove, a customer can just peel it off and claim it’s theirs and walk out. Nothing any employee can do about that at those stores.
