What are your symptoms of EDS?
My symptoms are POTS, hypermobility, joint pain, fibromyalgia, visual snow, and there are more but those are the main ones
What is EDS?
Ehlers dahnlos syndrome
The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) are a group of hereditary disorders of connective tissue that are varied in the ways they affect the body and in their genetic causes. The underlying concern is the abnormal structure or function of collagen and certain allied connective tissue proteins. (Got that from the Ehlers Danlose Society)
My friend and I noticed that a lot of Eds patients have visual snow as well, which could be critical in getting Eds patients a diagnosis
im undiagnosed but i think i might have it.... I have POTS which tends to be comorbid with EDS
Yeah, I have POTS as well!!!
crazy!! What hEDS symptoms do you have? Just to see if I experience anything similar - it's so hard since these aren't diagnosed often and a lot usually relies on the patient advocating for themselves instead of the medical provider taking over and figuring out whats going on :/ at least with my experience
