Perhaps there's hope if you specify undue hardship and they feel generous. It's worth a shot.
Otherwise, as someone else suggested, hold on and hope its value appreciates.

You're a domain investor now. If you hold onto this domain for long enough, you might end up selling it for $5k or more after a few years.
Some domain sell for as high as $1 million.
Right now, you can try to not rub your eyes too much while crying to avoid hurting them.

Seems you're in a mess. Why don't you tell people the name of the domain ? maybe someone has interest on it.
