Yeah, he got the wrong A'Bunadh. I *almost* made the mistake of getting the bourbon cask mutured one rather than the sherry cask matured version myself.

Is it really that much worse? I can grab a bottle of the alba for $70+tax and I’m debating it. I have a bottle of the standard abunadh and love it.

By all accounts the Alba is significantly worse than the regular sherry matured A’Bunadh. Aberlours style does well with Sherry casks but not Bourbon

It’s pretty bad. It’s extremely abrasive and one-dimensional with those green apple notes.
